Thank you for the kind words. I know it's far from what everyone has it here. I'm so out of room right now it's not even funny. Corals are always fighting for spaces... whew... chemical warfare = no fun.

Richard,
One of the reasons I like your tank so much is because you're going about it in a very conscientious fashion. Frags, aquacultured corals, etc. Sustainable collecting and fragging from mother colonies is the future we should all be contemplating, and it's the way I'd like to grow my 110g as well. You've done a good job with it, and you've made one beautiful tank in the process. You ought to be proud.

Now you put it that way, it sounds alot cooler then it really is lol. I'm also very conscious about spendings. But it gives me great satisfaction to see them grow and flourish. It also gives me chance to share with my fellow reefers such as yourself. Thanks for the kind words rick. I appreciate ya.

Ok, I finally had some time today to gather all of my frags to glue them down. Made a new zoa rocks full of new zoas and a small rock for nice chunk of ora red planet and red robbins acro. Pictures are going to be taken once all the corals stopped being so pissed at me..
Sad that Iost a bit of my larger acro colonies due to my neglect on testing water sigh...

Ugh, that stinks. Sorry about the Acros! Can't wait to see the new setup tho.
I have a couple zoa frags that need to be permanently glued. One of the orange zoas managed to get knocked off its frag plug by a bulldozer snail, I noticed it last night.
Oh yes, and there is DEFINITELY some allelopathy going on between the Favites frag and the rose coral. I saw some BIG sweeper tentacles from the favites late last night. He's getting moved a little. I like my Rose, don't want anything to happen to it.

My alk got dropped to 6... things are starting to grow alot it seems. I started dosing through and its stabilized now.

Ouch. Yep, that'll do it.
I've been dosing 2-part every other day to every three days lately, and keeping my alk around 11. The SPS seem to be responding well, and the coralline has been spotting all over the place. Starting to wonder if I should be thinking of a CA reactor one day.

Im going to slowly raise the alk and im going to keep at it at 10. Right now its at 8.5. I have learned my lesson and it will be good to finally utilize my apex lol. 10 secs per hour every hour frpm 12 am to 8am is good so far.

Hey sip, what kind of card does your camera take....SD? That three-color balance card set is coming in the mail tomorrow, I figure I'll bring it over on Thursday. If you want we can take some tank shots on one of my SD cards, and I'll balance them from work on Friday.
BTW, I'm still game for thursday's visit to reefchicks! Getting off work at 3:50 onna dot, and I'll haul rear down south directly from there.

Boy that's a busy day!
Hey, if your friend EVER feels like coming a little farther north with his PAR meter, tell him that I'll feed him for the favor!! At the very least....pizza and beer.

I'm not taking the fun-vee tomorrow (sad) so I'll be pulling up in my rickety old red van. I need to negotiate with the wife-unit to see if there are any funds for possible corals. I would LOVE if they happened to have a purple tube anemone, but I'm sure I'm wishing in the wind there.

I will see if I can borrow the par meter from him in worst case scenario. yup, if you want to jump on the last pit stop, you are more then welcome to my friend.

Huh. Looks like I *AM* taking the Fun-Vee tomorrow.

I'm also getting off at 3:45. Makes it a little easier to get down there.
