I just Rescued a purple tang with HLLE from *****. They have had this tang for 3 months and it has a bad case of HLLE, it is about 4 inches long eating well flake and seaweed. My problem is that my tank is only 30 gallons, i am looking for some one in colorado that can take him for free and nurse it back to health. I will do my best with him to make him healthy.I will not ship this time of year.
***** said that they are not allowed to treat sick fish so I had to take him. Can anyone help?

Are you saying ***** will let fish die and not attempt to treat them?

that is what he said they are not allowed to treat, he said the only thing he can do is fresh water dips not allowed to have qt tanks or use chemicals

Kind of funny that we'll shut down a restaurant for being dirty but do nothing to ***** for their ethics of treating live animals!

I've seen many LFS using sub-standard practices with their fish husbandry, and other *****'s that do a decent job. Its all in management.

Hey if we go skiing next week maybe we can pick him up? How far are you from A basin and such? I know it about 4 hours from the springs, my hubby says he will oick it up after they finish skiing if its possible

I might be in denver on Sat. afternoon if that works. I am about an hour from A-Basin could meet silverthorn on way thur or in denver.
