Recue

I just Rescued a purple tang with HLLE from *****. They have had this tang for 3 months and it has a bad case of HLLE, it is about 4 inches long eating well flake and seaweed. My problem is that my tank is only 30 gallons, i am looking for some one in colorado that can take him for free and nurse it back to health. I will do my best with him to make him healthy.I will not ship this time of year.
***** said that they are not allowed to treat sick fish so I had to take him. Can anyone help?
Thank You

Are you saying ***** will let fish die and not attempt to treat them?

that is what he said they are not allowed to treat, he said the only thing he can do is fresh water dips not allowed to have qt tanks or use chemicals

Thank you for being kind to a fish.
While you have him, start addressing the HLLE. There is info on this in the FAQ Thread in the Disease Forum.
Also, I'm copying your post over to our Live Selling and Trading Forum.

Read Beth's post! My Sailfin had HLLE around the eyes. I found Beth's post and followed her instructions, saw improvement within 2 weeks. It's been 3 months and he's almost healed.
