red algae

I have red algae on a couple pieces on lr.I carefully took it and a week ago and it's back.
what likes to eat this stuff?

Is it slimy? If it is It might be cynobacteris. You will need to increase flow and limit your nutrients. Also a good protein skimmer will help this! :)
 
fresh water maracyn will help by doing half doses without any filter media for a few days, then do a 25% water change and add carbon. People may say it will kill beneficial bacteria, it may, but will not harm your tank...Reef safe too

Unfortunately there is nothing that I know of which will eat slime algae. You will know it is slime algae because it usually is a dark maroon color and starts to form like a skin like covering. Water changes and detritis cleaning will help.
