I have just found a strange red algae growing on my zoos. Is it bad and how do I get rid of it?

redspot321 Member Sep 25, 2007 #3 Looks like cyanobacteria. Manualy remove as much as you can and decrease nutrient levels in your system. Some people use "chemi-clean" its expensive but works within a day or two. Reef safe as well.
