I have some red algea on my LR that has been there awhile. It is only on LR, not anything else. I know this is supposed to be dangerous. How do I get rid of it? I do not seem to be getting anymore and haven't in a while. I just want to get rid of the older stuff. Any advice is appreciated.
I had the same problem when I first got my tank going I found that mexican turbo snails love that suff but if you dont have any I accually used a turkey baster and sucked the stuff out of my tank little at a time as to not have it flying all over the tank to spread I did that for a couple weeks along with partial water changes.But later I purchesed a majestic foxface (rabbit fish) I havent had it come back yet some hermit crabs ans turbo snails eat it do some more research on what species thrives on it
