red anemone?

i got a little anemone today. Its bright red. about the size of a quarter. Neat little guy. What kind is it? It has tenticles like a long tentacle anemone, but they arent very long
any ideas?
ill get a pic tommorw if needed.

Is his base red and his tentacles white?
if so he could be a fire base anenome.
They are agrressive and have a very strong sting. Normally Clarkii's only adopt them as a host.

no, its small and the tentacles are bright red and the base dark red. no white whatso ever. bottom of the foot is bright red as well.
what is it?!

Are the tips at like bubbles on the end? Sounds like a roase bta to me...
How much did you pay for it? If it is a rose bta, you would of had to pay at least $50+ or so for it, even at that size.

its not a bta..they arent bubles at the tip. they are sharp.. like a tiny long tenticle anemone without the long tenticles!!

got it. took a pic with my canon THROUGH A MAGNIFYING GLASS and it turned Out SO MUCH BETTER!

Hrm...that's a different one...While I don't know a positive ID on it, it does look like it is retracted into it's base quite a bit...maybe it will open more....I'm sure someone will know.
It sorta looks like a ritteri anemone that I saw at my LFS but that was too long ago to remember to be sure about it at all...
