Has anyone ever heard of this type of skimmer. If so, what do you think of it? I am wanting to use it in my undertank sump

I really like mine. Easy to set up, and really produces good foam. Try the new Berlin Turbo for even better results.

I just bought the Red Sea Berlin Classic, and now I regret it. I even called Red Sea for help today and they were no help. The support staff couldn't even tell me the difference between a regular 700 GPH pump and the new Red Sea Berlin Turbo. A real wishy-washy answer. My problem was my RIO2500 pump, which I was told would be lots, never produced enough to get the skimmer working. I asked about the Berlin Turbo and Red Sea can't tell me what the Turbo actually is. So now I'm stuck with a $300.00 skimmer and need a new pump. Every one is now telling me the Red Sea is inferrior to most of the newer skimmers. Non of the stores here sell the Turbo upgrade kit, so tomorrow I'll go spend another $100.00 for a Mag 7 pump.

fish head if its not to late i had the same problem and i found a great way to fix it cheap i just got an air pump the more powerfull the better and ran airline from it to the intake for air on the skimmer instead of just letting it suck in air
good luck

FishHead for $450 you could have had a top of the line skimmer the VS3-36" from Lifereef with pump and for a tank up to 500gal, $350 for the 200gal tank model VS3-24", cya.
