Red bubble algae?

Just noticed a pretty large patch of this stuff in my tank this morning. It looks a lot like bubble algae, only it's red. It's growing all over the rock.. I pulled a piece off, and sure enough it feels like bubble algae as well.
But I have never seen red bubble algae, only green. Is there such thing, or could it be something else?

Yes there is such a thing i had about 6 small bubbles in my tank. I put one of my big turbo snails near it and by morning it was gone. Besure if your removing it by hand not to "POP" it because you'll spred spores in your tank and then have one hell of a mess.
