Red Color films on bottom of the tank???

HELP!
My tank started with a few red spots on top of the sand. After 24 hours it has covered 60 % of the sand. What are they? Is it harmful? If it is, how do I go about moving it. Thanks in advance..

Red slime algae. There are good products to remove it. In my friend's tank we removed it with Phosphate sponge by Kent Marine.

Thanks! I will try to clean it out...is it a good idea to change water as well, the red algae seems to have bubble pockets that looks like it is going to burst.
I know I should have waited to add any more live stocks to the system..but the LFS tested my water sample and everything is at good level. So I bought home a green bubble anemone...it has attached itself to a piece of LR.
Right now the lights in the tank is off...I do a 12 hours cycle with one 48 inch light on and off an hour apart. Hope it will do well... the TR false clowns had not even gone near it yet...I will update in the morning.
Thanks again, this is a great site for gathering informations and advise...Sure help me lots so far and I just started two and a half weeks ago.
