Red Coris Wrasse changing

I wanted to share a picture of George, my Red Coris Wrasse changing colors. I haven't had him for too long... 1 month in QT and a month in the DT, but he's grown pretty fast. Still a little skiddish, like he hides in the sand whenever I clean the tank or do my water change but hopefully that'll change over time. No fish in the tank bothers him, I don't even think they pay him attention. Otherwise he eats well and is very active, likes to turn over little rocks, always picking in the rocks and sand for food. Cool fish!
I'm almost sorry to see him change to adult coloring. The white stripes are getting smaller every day, tail turning yellow and the blue markings are starting from tail.
btw, for those who remember my old stock list, George here replaced my clown trigger who was getting really agressive, so he had to be traded in.

Sorry, I don't have one. I should have taken one, but I didn't. He was all red, clear tail and the white markings were larger. Looked just like the juvi red coris wrasse in the saltwaterfish.com store.

Hey RC! Long time no see!

Red Coris is an awesome wrasse.
Fun Fact! Do you guys know that the mostly black fading coloring, with all those blue spots, is actually only the immediate male/female coloration? Not the adult coloring that everyone thinks. The actual adult males are quite different looking!

Hey Aqua, yea I had to trade in my clown trigger because it was getting a little scarry agressive and got the coris wrasse instead. Interesting facts about the coloring, thanks for the pics. I always thought their adult form was the black with the blue dots. It'll be interesting to see it change over time.
