Neither is suitable for a 75gal. tank, especially the Red Coris. You might be able to get away with the Tusk, but please stay away from the Coris until you get a considerably larger tank (150gal+).

For now my 240 Long is a FW with a Silver Aro, 3 Tiger Datnoids, and a Royal Clown knife. So can't part with those.
Thanks for the info though.

Here is my 240 Fresh. I'm getting ready to sell the 17" Ornate Bichir and maybe 1 of my 3 Datnoids and move the lot to a new 180 I'm setting up. Then my 240 will become a FOWLR...can't wait.

I'm calling it qiuts on the Red Corvis. I have heard from friends and reading that the Coris is exremley recluse during the evening hrs and as I work all day he will just be some bio-load and something to feed that I can't enjoy.
No thanks...but a Tusk is extrmely active (from Experience) so I'll stick with him.

Funny, a yr later and I have converted my 240 to Salt and am once again drawn to the Red Coris.
If they hide during the evening hrs how does one get food to it?

The only time mine hid was at night, when the lights would go off.
During the day, when the lights first came on, it'd take him a little while to wake up...but once he realized it was day time, he was out all day.
