I have since learned, after ordering three of them, that these snails are cold-water animals that will not live in a reef tanks temperature. Well, it's been two weeks now, and they show so signs of slowing down. They are some of my best algae eaters. The tank stays near 80 degrees, yet it hasn't seemed to faze them. So am I just fooling myself in thinking I have beat millions of years on evolution and the snails are going to die soon, or has anyone managed to keep them in an 80-degree tank?
