Red Leg Hermits,Help

Do these guys always come in beat up.I've tried to recieve them twice with about half hanging out the other half missing a leg or two no way to start out .I was able to hosp. 3 of twenty and keeping my fingers crossed . Everything else seem okay when they ship(This is two seperate shipments of 20 each and 5 survivers total, not good.Any thoughts....Noy trying to bad mouth perhaps less in or bigger bags...Thanks anybody else get them this way...:confused:

is this in the bag or after you add them to the tank? where are you getting them from? a little more info and i think we can help.

I know they tend to fight in the tank (from reading, dont own any). With that said, I never thought about shipping and them being stuck in 1 bag. I would assume the turnout would be bad, as you have experienced. Bumping you for others that have ordered and their experience. :)

only shipment of red legs i got came with a total of 5 in the same bag. Didnt have a problem with these at all.

Yes in the bag, 20 at a time in 4in. wide 10 tall bag. Wish they would put less in at a time they must be two deep and roll alot in there with some just fitting in thier shells there take to much damage, could real use the help in the tank as of now I had three recouping out in the hosp. long time before I let them in the there the pods would do them in before their brethren would. .I'm not new to this, just this shipper.Everyone of its kin made it (Mex.and turbos,seven Mithraxs) I curently have zebra hermits w/ Reds from last years order they play nice. Learned about the blues long time ago( You be sing ing it if you mix them).I've gotten five in a bag at a time from another shipper,It seemed to be a nice num. for the survival rate in that size bag. They were exllent size specimens if only they had a chance.
