Red Marks on Yellow Tang

This morning my Yellow tang had large red marks down both sides and on his head. Otherwise he is looking/swimming fine. Is this some disease, is something attacking him, or did he just scratch himself on the rock? With him are:
1 sally lightfoot Crab
A bunch of blue leg hermits and snails
coral beauty
scooter blenny
chalk bass
Percula Clown
Condi Anemone
Bubble Tip Anemone
I have had the tank for almost a year and these guys have all been together for 2 or 3 months.

i think its from not getting enough greens. what are you feeding him? are you soaking his foods in zoe or other vitamins? also, what size tank is it? bo

It is uusually an internal bacterial infection very common with yellow tangs. What are your water readings?

I agree with jimi. If you don't have a UV sterilizer, get one. Regards, and:
