Red Reef lobster ate my clownfish

I put a red reef lobster in my reef tank and within the first 24 hours it destroyed my clownfish. I was foolish to listen to my LFS and to go my the name "Reef" lobster. Man am I mad, the darn thing chopped off my clowns tail and the fish died shortly. It also poked a hole in my Copper Banded Butterfly, and he died too. This is a warning to any of you who want to get a "Reef" Lobster. I would highly and I mean HIGHLY disapprove of anyone putting a lobster in any kind of tank that you might have. The lobster only cost $15.00 at my LFS and the guy told me that it would be fine in my tank. I am so pissed. I even looked up lobsters on this message board.

how big is your tank? yeah, every lobster is supposidly "reef safe" and so is some crabs that have been known to kill fish and inverts(sallys and emeralds). Maybe reef safe means, it wont munch on coral but doesnt mean it wont munch on fish and inverts.
