red reef lobster

i just got a red reef lobster about 4 inches long. and i dont know how to keep him, any info would help. thanks in advance :help: what does he eat and what if anythings dose he need to live a long and happy life

Feed him two or three times a week with a small scrap of seafood from the grocery store. They like fish, clams, squid, shrimp, crab, etc..

Is the red reef lobster reef safe?

I think they are reef safe..but not fish safe..I know the purple ones will eat whatever it can catch..not too sure about the red ones though..

Lobsters are reef safe and will generally only eat fish of you fail to spot feed them on a regular basis.

Lobsters are oppurtune feeders and will eat ANYTHING they can trap catch. Spot feeding may reduce the risk but you can NEVER reduce it to zero.
