Red Sea Coral Pro Salt

HI all,
I am just wondering if anyone has been using this salt and what they think of it, I just ordered two buckets and am going to try it for a while. I have been using reef crystals and have never had a problem, but I have been wanting to try a better salt mix. Please let me know if you have tried this salt or are using it now. Thanks

i tried and i loved it!!! it is great calcium always on point SG on point only thing that is usually off is PH is always kinda low around 8.0....if these next few buckets i have of oceanic or reef crystals dont turn out as good as the red sea i will be going back

why did you go back to the others if you loved the red sea??

I've been using it for about 8 months and the coral growth I've had in that time has been great.

Thanks, sounds like most people like it, I posted this on the reef tanks post also and got more replies than on here. I will be getting mine on Monday and will do a water change when I get it. I usually do water changes on Sunday but this week I am going to wait till the new salt gets here.

I tryed it and liked it at 1st. but then my levels got all messed up. its got may unbalanced cal and dkh. and really high ph. atleast the 3 buckets i got

I like it a Lot! My calcium is always great for coral, and I have lots of coralline algae going on it there.

well i had never tried oceanic before and the place i got my salt was running a special of buy 3 get 1 free so i bought 2 oceanic and 2 -- but they didnt sell the redsea and the sale only applied to instant ocean and oceanic...i will probably go back once i am out unless i like oceanic better....i may even try Tropical marine pro

Psh! I have no clue

Everything in the tank is doing fine, so I'm guessing it's ok..
