occasionally the den of divers lol sells a pair of yashias that are also paired to a candy stripe for like $150..
I got my pair of yashias and candy stripe in a LFS.
I had the guy put two yashias together and they didn't kill each other..
on the bottom fins check for a black spot... only one of the yashias can have one as it indicates I think a male.

Can i just do 1 yashia because i don't think i have enough sand bed? Some areas are 3/4 inch and some are an inch?

go get more sand at the LFS... put it in a plastic cup and cover the cup and open it under water lol... add more sand to the bed.

I don't think they sell established aquarium sand just live bag sand and i've heard your not suppose to add it to established aquariums? Is there anywhere online?

You live in Cali... Lots of SW tanks out there..
Find someone tanking their tank down (or looking to reduce the depth of their sand bed) or a LFS that sells live sand out of a tank..
your tank isn't really established, it's not a big deal.
You could do the premium keys I guess.. all up to you.

hey Cal, any updates? Looks like your you changed your mind. Thats cool, I think a yashia shrimp combo will be very cool.

Finally got a fish
...lol...he's a small(1 inch) Hi Fin Red Banded Goby. Picked him and a Tiger Pistol Shrimp(about 2 inches) up yesterday and they already paired up and are both eating mysis shrimp and formula one
...
Took some pix of them working together...

Thanks Whisk took a minute though finally decided to pull the trigger...lol
Next is a pair of clowns should i do true percs or false percs? Probably not until another month don't want my bioload to be an issue...lol

i would go with true percs. i personaly think they are much cooler looking. or a couple black and white occelaris (spelling)
