I have two oceanic biocubes, and after watching a video of the red sea max 250 which is a 66 gallon i guess nano but all in one tank,
I was wondering how do people feel about this company or their first nano red sea max 130d?
From what i remember from the video, it is running around 2100 dollars coming with a protein skimmer, two returns, 3 stage filtration, stand, 6 39 watt t5 lighting, and a few other built in features. Is this a good tank to start looking at.

I love the nano, but would not buy the 66g complete tank. We like to be in charge of every component that goes into the tank and I can't see why we'd spend the money to get 66g tank with parts that we'd be swapping out anyways.
Just my $0.02 worth

Yeah that's what I think too my next tank will be one i acturally buy all the filtration, heater, skimmer and powerheads for...And it would be waaaay cheaper doing it that way...lol

i like doing that as well. o ps thanks for that review i found it very informitive.
im making a 200 gallon where i will buy all of the pieces, but this would be a tank for my bedroom, i like the all in one tanks for some reason, with the biocubes and all. not that i dont like the biocubes but it is limited.
After watching the video the first time, i was really impressed with this aquarium, and a real seller is that it is a 66 gallon aquarium that is about 38 inches long, more compacted where a standard 55 is alot longer if i am correct.

a 55 is longer, and also much narrower, which is a negative for saltwater lol, narrow tanks are not all that great in my opinion
