Red Sea Prizm Dimensions.....

Can someone please list the dimensions of the Prizm Skimmer. I can't find them anywhere and i have limited space on the back of my tank. I'd like one if it will fit me. Thanks.

The slim line profile (only 2.4” wide) allows the Prizm to be discretely hung on behind the aquarium or on the side of the sump, with it’s fully submersible motor it can even be placed inside the sump! maybe an inch to big. How does the clip hang on it? Is it centered is the clip the whole length, off to the right, off to the left???

Its kinda off to the right, but the intake tube is to the left. GO to the manuwebsite to see the installation instructions and a little movie.

Do you have a sump, the prizm can sit in a sump too.

No its for a 20 and i have an emperor 300 on it so im kinda limited for space. Just got dual 65's for the 20 and im tryin acros and clams

IMO in your case...Skimmer > emporer
in reef's its better too use natural filteration.

lemme clear something up. Only the prizm pro can be used in sump. It is rated for 300 gal tanks. The regular prizm should fit on your tank, and I think they're rated for 90 gal or something like that.

I know this because I had an emporer on my FW tank and I'm pretty sure I had room to fit a prizm back there. Just remember not the prizm pro, they're overkill for your tank.

I just measured mine and your going to need just at 9-1/2 inches to squeeze it on the back.
