Red Sea Prizm Skimmer- How do I start it?

I just got a used skimmer & it didn't come with instructions. Can anyone tell me how to start it? Do I just plug it in or do I have to fill it with water? (it is already assembled.)

just make shure the pump is submesed

This skimmer hangs on the back of the tank. NOt in the tank.

how dose it pull water from the tank
with a hose?

It has a plastic tube that sticks in the water to bring water in.

then make shure your hose is in the water and plug er in

if it has any problems try pouring some water into the pump entrence into the skimmer

I hear the pump but it's not doing anything!?

try pouring water were water should be entering the skimmer

I think it is broken because the impeller is not turning when I plug it in.

can you put a little water in the pump and start it back up? that shoult free it up

I found manuel instructions online & did everything it said to do but the impeller still doesn't work. Thanks for trying though!
