Red Sea Salt

I just purchased a tub of red sea salt that contains enough to make 80 gallons. The problem is i need to make 50 gallons and the instructions say use 1.4 pounds per 5 gallons how can i measure that is there away to transfer it into cups.

1/2 cup per gallon should get you about 1.023-.025 in specific gravity.

Just check it after it has mixed for a while and adjust as needed. You'll get it down to exact right about the time you run out.
