Red SLIME Algae

what can i buy for my tank to get rid of it? so far i have:
1 scarlet crab
1 serpent star
1 orange star
10 astraea
1 emerlad crab

how long are your lights on? ihad mine on for 12 hours a day then i cut it down to 8 the algae is gone

Cyno is a low oxygen tolerant bacteria...
Increasing flow to promote gaseous exchange, which increases available disolved oxygen in the water, then circulating it to ALL parts of the tank (down low between the rocks and over the sand bed)and reducing dead spots will go a long way toward eliminating red slime and promoting aerobic biological filtration bacteria...
