RED Slime on fake coral

I have developed a red slime on my fake corals that have been put into the tank,,,any ideas?

Syphon it off, it will return, syphon it off again.
The real solution is to find what is causing the cyano and eliminate it. Try doing a search on this board for cyano.
The fake corals will need regular cleaning as all kinds of nuisance algaes will attatch themselves.

I beleive cyanobacteria can be the product of poor water circulation. Of course it needs a food source but improving the water circulation will help.
