Well I first started my tank off with tap (Bad Idea). Latley I have topped off with RODI and Done about 10 Gallons of W/C with it. Its a 29, are there any good ways to get rid of it?

First step is to stop feeding. Most of the time alge outbreaks can be traced back to too many nutrients in the water.

Interesting, I'm having a similiar if not the same problem. Started out with hairy algea, now I have some cyano starting. I guess I'll cut back on my feeding. Will feeding dried seaweed cause an algea outbreak? Like if the seaweed tears off and floats around. I have an aggressive Queen who likes to tear seaweed up. Little particals end up floating around for a while, however, I do remove the bigger pieces that I can get to.

Any other thoughts? Im getting my own RODI in the Fall. My water is clear, I have a fuge. It seems like there wouldnt be excess nutrients.

Clear water doesn't mean clean water. I would start by testing nitrates and phosphates. Cyno can sometimes be caused by little or no flow in a certain area.

Trates are fine, not sure about the phosphates. I have a mag 5 return and 2 other powerheads.
