I have not used that brand and I would be leery of anything that has a caution like use 1/2 dose with corals. You need to figure out what is causing the problem to get rid of it for good. In a couple of drastic situations I used chemi clean by boyd enterprises along with making sure I was free of phosphates, silicates and water flow was adequate, water chemistry was correct etc.

all levels are perfect and i alot of water flow, just ahve one spot of bacteria that won't go away.
the directions do not have use 1/2 with corals, i just heard that.
it is supposed to be harmless to fish, corals, and inverts.
they sell right here on swf.com

Well you can't do much more than that I suppose.
You just got to make sure the chemical will not kill off the good bacteria aswell.

I have used it before.... it worked really well but you have to keep an eye on your pH and oxygen levels. That product states that as a warning... and I have seen it damage a tank before without the proper use. I just put in an airstone for the 3 days i used it, and it did just fine.

I had to use chemi clean once and it worked perfectly and I had no problems with any of my coral or fish.

I have used red slime remover before with no ill effects to fish, inverts, or corals. Just make sure you use as directed.
I also use a sump, so the drop from the tank to the sump oxygenates the water pretty well. Thus, there were no problems there for me.
