Recent History:
Replaced PC fixture with HQI/T5 fixture (9/07) and struggled to maintain temp control for the first few days. Initial lighting schedule was over 12hr/day T5 actinic, and 10hr/day hqi. Started seeing algea outbreak within in about the 2nd to 3rd week. Backed down on feeding (every 2-3 days a mixture of frozen variety/flake) , and lighting to its current 10hr T5, 7hr hqi, but continued to see algea grow.
About 3 weeks ago I pulled some out and discovered I also had a pretty bad case of flat worms. Did a Flatworm exit treatment and now need to refocus on the algea. Have ordered a new Koralina 4 water mover, and 2 new bags of Chemi pure and Phos Zorb.
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Greg
