red slime

I need some help getting rid of what appears to be red slime. It grows on my rocks and on the sand. I have tried red slime remover and chemi pure, neither of which wipe it out. Any suggestions?

you need to find out what the cause is not a quick fix some probable causes could be low flow high trates/trites old light bulbs etc have you tested your water lately what were your last readings

chemi clean worked for me, not sure if chemi pure is the same.

chemi pure isnt the same thing as chemi clean.i have used chemi clean and it works great!!!

Do a search in this forum...red slime may be the most talked about thing on this site, minus of course the cycle and water chemistry. You will find all you need and more! HTH
