I just saw a picture of one in a catalog, but can't seem to find any information about them. Has anybody heard of this type of trigger, and if so could you please give me some info? I appreciate it.
Thanks

i believe the type of trigger you are talking about is called a pink tail trigger fish. you should find info on that if you type it in.

It's not the Pink Tail, no.
You're looking for info on the Sargassum Trigger (Xanthicthys ringens).
They seem to be out of season, right now, so they're gonna be expensive. I've seen them for as little as $45 but right now, I'm finding alot of prices to be $100 - $200.

Are they reef safe. I know a bluejaw trigger is considered reef safe, but just wondering about the red tail.
