My tank is now three mounths old and my filters are keeping up with the Bio load My question is can you change the water to much to try and reduce nitrates. My nitrates were at around 40 so I did one today about 30 % I reduced them to about 15 which is not bad for a FOWLR should I keep going and try to reduce them more, and do I need to wait a few days before doing another water change?:notsure:

Even 40 isn't that bad for FOWLR. Just keep doing weekly 10% changes and feed your fish less. It will come down.

I do about 10-20% every week. I also add Cycle to my tank after each water change to put a little bacteria into the tank as well though.
15ppm is fine for a FOWLR tank. Don't overwork yourself.
