Heres soem more recent onces from the 55, currently having a cyano EXPLOSION, i think it may have been hiding in the back of the tank, then reached the point where population absolutely BOOMS exponentially.
Some corals and feather duster:

If you look, here there are a total of 7, soon to be 10 head of hammer coral, farther up is the original frag at a measly 3 heads.

My fav tank inhabitants my BIG rose, which has in the last day moved locations due to my effort at conquering cyano!!!!!!!!, and my mixed origin/species clowns. The male is tank bred here in Colorado locally, and he is Ocellaris, the female is a wild true A. Percula. There are no species conflict, as they were introduced with the male still sexually immature. I believe he is "coming of age" now as his color is becoming very very orange, a dark red-orange, and she is beginning to grow HUGE! Well not exactly huge. This is not my old clown, sadly he perished due to a wound, and then a secondary infection from an impulse buy to pair it up. :(

And A nighttime shot:

Well, it looks a lot smaller in that last picture than the first. MY BTA gets huge, but at night it goes back into it's little cave and is tiny.

YEah I know, dont need to tell me that. BTW dont try kent poly ox if you have this problem, it does nothing, at all. I ordered a product, from the vets, fish and invert safe, to help clear this up

I feel your pain, I'm about ready to get rid of my BTA. It came really close to my first SPS, a birdsnest frag, and then almost touched my Tub's Blue Zoos.
My husband wants to keep it, but it's walking on thin ice at the moment.

Well, my BTA has stayed in the same spot for the past three days, so maybe he knew I was about ready to pull him out.
If he stays put he has a good chance of staying.

Believe it or not, he is under 260 watts PC, and he is continuing to do just fine. And yes if I see ANY ill effects he will go back to the LFS on hold until I get halides.

Well, the update has been a long time coming. The anemone is still doing fine, and better than ever, im really hoping for a split tho, hes killing corals. Anyhow, my cyano problem was eradicated after two doses of "Blue Life Red Slime Control" There were noi ill effects, aside from a SLIGHT nitrate spike, but inj thge end life is better due to increaced light refection, and my refugium macro's dont get covered over, so my nitrate reads now at .2 :) Corals are growing quite rapidly, especially my polyps.
