never heard of them, what is the wattage? Are the florescent or metal halide? I think people need more info, but it sounds like they are better for growing pot than in a reef?

They sound good, I would suggest the 10k...but i think that is personal preference of color. Although people have differing opinions on wether the 10k vs. 20k penetrates the water better, or certain corals do better under one or the other.
You'll have to wait for more opinions on that specific brand name of light. Ive never heard of it. Sorry I couldnt be more helpful, but at least ya got a free bump

I bought from them too, I think. I just got the pcakage yesterday and, with the exception of a broken bulb, the system looks great - just as pictured. I have e-mailed them about the broken bulb, but I have not yet heard back, so I don't know how it will work out.
Here's another thing to consider: I ordered the 10K bulb, as I was worried that the 20K would be too blue. (They do not stock the 14K bulbs). Since I had a broken bulb, and I was working on water chemistry problems, I could not fire up the light. WHen I went to my lfs this morning I found a 12K 400 watt bulb, so I bought it, brought it home and fired it up. The side with the 10K bulb looks all washed out - almost bleached. The side with the 12K looks great - much better color.
I know it can take a while for the bulb to mature into the color it will produce for months, but if I could snap my finger and make a change, I'd buy a pair of 12K or 14K bulbs...
