Reef invert package?

Which invert package would you get for a cycled 90 gallon reef? I already have a peppermint shrimp and most of those packages contain a coral banded...is this ok? And I hope none of the little guys will be able to hurt my tiger cowie snail or my urchin...

I feel the pre-packaged deals arent all they're cracked up to be. Better off picking specific items and ordering that way. May cost you a few $ more, but i think its worth it.

Why arent they what they are cracked up to be? Poor animal quality? Or do you say that because you dont get to pick what you get? Again, is the coral banded ok with a peppermint?

I say its because you cant pick what you want and you just get stuff...like one of the packages has an urchin...another has a sand sifting star...etc....so you will be getting things you may not need or want based on your tank.
And as far as I know, a cbs will not tolerate a peppermint unless in a large tank. Then again, I have a cbs that acts like a cleaner shrimp so who knows?

Unless you want any of the other stuff IMO snails are all you really need in a reef. They keep the rocks clean. Other stuff is mainly carnivous and will take away from the bio life unless you have problems with apstasia or hair algea. The hermits ussualy end up killing the snails anyway.
