Reef lighting choice

Should I stay with my Formosa deluxe hood w 2X 10,000 PC 65 watt and 2xactinic 65 with 2 48"VHO OR 2x 250 10000 MH with 2x real actinic blue 96w pc?
It is a 72ga reef set up.
I might have enough room to keep the VHO's on as well, or am I overloading the light at that point?

What are you hoping to keep?

Right now I have 2 clowns, flame angel, strawberry baslet, pink spotted goby, various shrimp. Corals include bubble, various mushrooms, leather, plate, zoos, xenia, torch, frogspawn , hammer. also a bubble tip[ anemone.
Would probably add a clam if I bought the MH

I would probably go with 2 150 watt halides with the t-5 actinic supplements.

I do think there is a risk, with the 250s, of causing issues with your existing corals. They can adapt over time - you'll need to light acclimate whatever you do. People do keep the 2 250W over 75g tanks...i'm just not sure if it buys you a lot unless you are really going SPS. JMO though

do you think that is too much light? The large torch sits about 3 inches under the surface.

I would go with a 2x 175 W MH if I were you...
