Reef Octo NW110 question

As many know the instructions on these skimmers are very limited.
What is the depth of the water that this skimmer should run in for optimal performance?

LOL...I actually know this because of all the research I did
Acrylic is right....altho try to keep it closer to 8

p.s.......some will say 6-8....but IMO 6 is too low....leaves no room if your water level in the sump goes down for the pump

The skimmer can be placed on a stand to make the skimmer perform at it's best, and that could vary from system to system. By leaving your sump level where it is and placing skimmer on a platform to the correct height you can have the best of both worlds.....
