Renogaw, I noticed you promoted the red brittle star... which I had never heard of until now. Why is this star better than the others?

sry, its a red serpent, not brittle.

Well their kinda like a chain of lfs. NOT like ***** though
They all stock the same things and none of them are very good with moblie invertabrates. My lfs has margarita snails but there like $5 each

yea, but the brittle ones have the spikes all over the arms. mine's a maroon serpent :) (it actually damaged itself on a silverside it grabbed out of my anenome...has a hole through its side where the silverside poked through)
jam: way too many mexican turbos. only about 1 per 20 gallons (they are MONSTERS). also wouldn't put any snails other than nass. snails in the sump.

can leave them in, your algae will never be visable. problem is, they may starve to death and dead mexican turbo smells B-A-D

I got 3 monster mexican turbos from my lfs this weekend... I highly recommend a few of them.. like renogaw side, one per 20... i think it might say one per 10 on here. No way!

I personally cant stand blue or scarlet hermits. all they do is kill snails.
get your self extra nassarius snails instead. do the same work minus murdering snails

you must have insane bad luck, and don't know what hermits do :)
nassarius snails shouldn't go on the rock. hermits shouldn't spent time on the sand (much). if you feed your tank enough the hermits hsouldn't kill off snails if you have enough extra shells in your tank.

I live in Lebanon and I dont prefer the lebanon pet store. Its not great with invertabrates in my opinon. The plymoth pet store is okay but I dont go there very often. The clarmont pet store is pretty much the same as lebanon pet store. I prefer to buy online because theres more variety
