Reef Questions

Guys
I am new, well I had a saltwater set up a few years ago but moved and had to sell it. I just purchased an Oceanic 29 Gal Bio Cuber, I am getting my Live Sand today, and Live Rock, I am also getting real Catiline ocean water today as well. I have a few questions and hope you guys can help. Its going to be a nano reef, I was thinking of using 30lbs of Live sand mixed with 20lbs or so of other sand. I was going to start with 20lbs of Live Rock for now. Should I put the rock stacked up against the back of the aquarium so that is one less side I have to clean or should the rock not be against the side at all. Also I have read that I should remove the bio balls that came with the system, is this true? If I remove the bio balls what do I put in its place if anything? Thanks! ill post some pictures as soon as I have the sand, water, and rocks in it.

Ok after reading more I see that bio balls should be removed, I was wondering what if I feel that chamber with some small Live Rock or something like that? Would that be a good idea? Hope to post some pictures once I get the LR, and LS today.
Thanks
