I dont have any 'reef ready tanks' in my town. What exactly is the difference and what extra things will i need to aquire?
I want a 90 gallon eel tank.
A reef-ready tank has an internal overflow with holes drilled on the bottion of the tank. You'll also see them called 'drilled' tanks. This makes the set up a bit nicer, and you can put the tank closer to the wall since there is little hanging on the back of your tank.
You can usually drill the side panels of a regular tank, but you should never drill the bottom.

Anybody who sells All glass aquariums the brand...Can order RR tanks.
umm, usually you could special order a reef ready tank from a dealer in your area. Check out your local fish store, a pet dealer, even ***** or some other establishment.
You can also order them from sites online. The catch there is you'd have to pay for shipping, and it might be costly. Of course, if you can't get your LFS/LPS to order them in for you, it might be your best bet.
My lfs is crazy overpriced, worthless bundles, offbrand, outdated, ugly stand and not even drilled.
Im currently looking at some truvu stuff and about 3 hours away from any major cities. ,victoria tx
