Reef safe meds?

Anyone ever use reef safe medication? Medication that's not suposed to harm inverts. I have a sailfin tang that has ich, I just can't get him out of the tank. I have way too much inverts, rock and coral to take everything out. If anybody has used a medication that will work in my DT please let me know.

The only two that people sometimes have success with are Stop Parasite and Kick Ich. I have always had good results with Stop Parasite. Whatever you use though, you absolutely need to check your levels before and after dosing. pH and kH needs to be tested before and after dosing to make sure these levels are not thrown off.
No reef safe med will work half as well as hyposalinity, but they can offer a bit of aid. I like Stop Parasite because it helps the fish fight off the ich, rather than claiming that it will "kill ich", since we know that no product can do that without killing other inverts as well (since ich is an invert).

This sailfin is just impossible to get out of the tank, he goes right behind all the rock, It's driving me nuts. Didn't know what else to do

Yea he seems fine, always looking for food, swims all over. Dosn't show any signs of anything. Except a couple of white spots on his fin.

I would just leave him in the display then. Start soaking his foods in garlic, and begin using vitamins in his food (Zoe, Selcon, VitaChem). You may want to also consider picking up a tank raised neon goby to help with the ich. I have one in my tank and he cleans the fish constantly. Plus, unlike cleaner wrasses, neon gobies do not need parasites to live.

Yes, you can use the same garlic you get at the grocery store, or buy it in liquid form (Kent's garlic extreme).
As far as foods, I would pick up 3 to 4 formula foods. Since you are also in Philly, I would check out Olsen's formula foods. They are in all Philadelphia LFS. I feed my fish Formula A, B, Reef Formula, and Algae formula. My tangs also love Julian Sprung's sea veggies.

On the topic of reef safe meds *sorry to shanghai the post* What is good for fungal growths? I have a firefish in my one tank that has a fungus looking growth up over his right eye white in color. I cannot find anything that is invert safe to treat it. And getting him out of the small tank would require disrupting the entere system too much to try and QT him.
