no personal experience here, but people here will recommend a pinktail, sargassum, or crosshatch. i think the latter two are expensive though.
blue ribbon eels generally don't make it in captivity.

My Bluethroat Trigger has never bothered any of my inverts. I try to keep him well fed so hopefully he won't in the future.

I have 3 (bluethroat, pinktail, niger) in a 225 with shrimp, purple lobster and corals. They are all behaving well so far. They seem to ignore the shrimp and smaller fish if I keep them feed regularly other wise it might be CHOMP.....

I also have a snowflake eel...he's only aggressive when I put Krill in the tank. I have plenty rocks for smaller shrimp and fish to hide if needed.
