I am interested in purchesing that light model in the dry goods section. As far as metal halides this is pretty cheap right? Is there something more I would need to buy for this (ie... chiller or fan etc...)? This would be adaquate for almost any coral I plan on putting in my 70 gallon correct?
Thanx in advance

I would say that 250 watt would be plenty. The 400's are mainly used on deeper tanks. With a 400 you would run into heating problems.

This site has had spectacular prices on those for quite a while. You will struggle to find them elsewhere shipped under 350, and those prices on here include shipping. Im ordering those when I am ready.

maybe he plans to hang them like 14'' high so he can just use 1 mh and not 2.... but.. a 400 on anything less then 24'' is kinda killer.... ( and yes... i do run a 400 se on a tank that is only 24'' tall )
YzGyz...
