Ok, so after TONS of thought on size I am going with a 120 gal. acrylic
reef setup. I found a deal on a double 250 watt electronic HQI coral vue retro kit at my local saltwater store. So that will be 500 watts.
Is this a good brand or are there others that are better. Also is this enough light? Also what bulbs should I get.
Also the skimmer I thought was either Euro Reef RS-100 or Aqua Remora?
Which is best?
Also for the sump should I get a submersable pump or external?
For the sump I thought the "bare bones" Eco sump will work fine?
This tank will be a 48" long tall acrylic show tank style so I will have to stack rocks a bit for pennetration for those hard corals, but is is really sweet looking. I really want to go about this right and not have to up wattage or change anything.
I've been out of reefing for a few years and miss it terribly and can't wait to get into it

again. I just want to do it right this time around.
OPINIONS PLEASE!
Thanks a bunch in advance,
Alison
