reef tank 125-180 gallon a couple questions

How much does it impact your electric bill and what could someone do to lower the impact on your electric bill i.e equipment or something else?
The second question is pumps skimmers filters etc what is the total estimated cost for all of the devices im gonna need for an aquarium 125-180 gallons. Im looking for a rough estimate here guys.

I have a 46 gallon and it costs me around $28 a month to run it. Id say for a 125gallon setup with no fish or anything, you looking at around $2000-$2500. Depending what you buy. I have close to $2500 in my 46 gallon.

Depends alot on your lighting also as far as what your electric bill will jump. My T5's didn't increase my bill much at all.
