Reef Tank/Reef Safe??Confused??

Quick question...
What does Reef Safe mean and what is a Reef Tank? If you want a chocolate chip star & it says it isn't "Reef Safe" what does this mean? It eats your Live rock or ??
I have a 24g nano - LR, LS, and 1 torch coral and plan just fish? Undecided? But...Is this a "Reef Tank" because I have LR..I'm Confused!

Put simply, a reef tank is one that has corals in it. Your tank would be considered a reef, or at least the beginnings of one, because of your torch coral.
Reef safe fish and invertebrates are those that can be trusted around corals. A chocolate chip star isn't reef safe because they are known to eat corals.
