Thank you for answering me so soon. I was told today that you can not use a 29 gal for reef. That is my goal. I think they are so beautiful. I am in the process of getting a Protein Skimmer and Lights. so I guess I will carry on.

Welcome to the boards! Keep us posted on your progress. If you go slow and read up, you can accomplish just about anything with your tank.

I believe a 29 could be developed into a very nice reef....the same as any other size display. Folks over in the nano forum keep sweet lil reefs in displays much smaller than 29 gal.
The process is much the same no matter the size....smaller allows for a greater potential for fluctuations in water chemistry....more water volume is easier to keep stable....but small or large either can be successful.
