Reef Tank?

Wondering what this inlet is. I actually was looking for another tank to house a reptile when I came across this tank at a second hand store. Reef tank? Looks like about 40 gallons. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, it could be a reef tank. But that tank would be great for saltwater fish too. If you've decided in doing so, I suggest learning more about saltwater fish care and maintenance. I'm a hobbyist but I'm still researching online on the do's and dont's. And so I found this good article here https://www.tankarium.com/how-to-care-for-saltwater-fish/ that would be a great help for you too.
