I've been attempting to improve my website(as humble as it is)...and I've got it improved...but I've got a question for those of you that know about these things...
If you'd look at my site and "try" to tell me how I would go about making the pictures I have be able to place the cursor over it and make it larger? Does that question make sense?? Please try to advise.......*_^

do you mean click it and make it larger or just scroll over and make it larger? they are two very differnt things...if u wanna click and make it larger (thumbnails) then view my source...if u want the latter it is a little more difficult but I did learn it 2 years ago...i could probably help you a little but kelly and AJ can help a ton...but of course they're professionals and are busy...I'm just a college student!

can you help me .....do I need to somehow change the pic files I send to my site? I use paint shop pro to resize and then use WS_FTP to send files to my server......I'd like to figure out how to change the pics on my site as mentioned above.....e-mail me if you'd like....this old computor challenged dummy just needs additional tutoring.....*_^

what ur asking is a little bit harder but I can definitely do it... I had to do it for my class a few years ago and it worked out great...I'll do the code for you and then u can just substitute ur picture names in for my pics...I'll let you know when I do it.. I have class all day today so it might have to wait until tomorow.

Hey NM,
(and greetings Eric)
Check out a sample of one of Eric's pics that was meant to help out when he was changing his image files: <a href="http://www.itpro1.com/reef.htm" target="_blank">http://www.itpro1.com/reef.htm</a>
There are also some mouse-overs that change size to indicate linked images at another page on my site: <a href="http://www.itpro1.com/sites.htm" target="_blank">http://www.itpro1.com/sites.htm</a>
I'd be happy to help you out if I can, I like the web tinkering business. I've also offered webspace for anyone who wants me to post pics for them (e.g: "www.itpro1.com/your_reef"). But I cannot give server access, I'd have to do the updating.

hey AJ... what I think NM wants is a mouseover.... check out my page...I put a pic of the tangs with a mouseover... The code works fine. If you see anything wrong with it let me know...I wrote NM an email trying to explain it...he hasn't written back yet. let me know what you think of the mouseover that I did.

i guess a "mouse over " is what I'm trying to do.....but there are problems(I am getting closer though). My site is rather limited in size(free from my isp) but I will go to a larger site once I've got it where I want it to be. I am very close to switching photos over to mouse overs......but now I think I need to figure out how to put them in columns like in erics site....as always I appreiciate the pointers and help..........any additional info you can e-mail to
bdjr@3lefties.com....I'm on vacation all this week and I've got time to play with this.......and turn my hair gray in the process........*_^...eric check your e-mail....
