Sorry to be a bother but if anyone knows a site with instructions, or has a scan or could explain i would appreciate it so much! I was so excited to be all responsible *lol* by ditching the hydrometer...but now i feel lost!!

Very simple, first calibrate it with distilled water,, lift up the little plastic plate, place distilled water on the GLASS and close plastic down gently, some excess water will drip-off, then use little screw driver and adjust right or left so both lines, line up in the peephole, your refract is now cailbrated,, wipe off distilled water and put on salt water to be tested, close little platic plate again, now look thru peep hole again! and like magic,, you salt values!! Is this clear for you?

the only part thats a bit confusing to me still is the screwdriver part,i look in the peephole and i see the two seperate "charts" ..will i see two water lines (once the distilled water is in there) and have to make them line up? Sorry if thats hard to understand! Ill try it ASAP! -<3 Devon

No that is right, once you put on the distilled water you use the screwdriver to make the NOW visible lines, line up!

You will see numbers on both sides.. the left side is specific gravity, the right side is parts per million.
You might check the webpage of the company; I bet they have online directions.

When you put the distilled water on it you might want to wait about 30 seconds so the temperature of the water can adjust to the unit.

Definitely one of the best purchases you'll make for the health of your tank. Good luck with it.
