Refractometer?

I just got my refractometer, & it says to use distilled water to calibrate. My ??? is can I use RO water to calibrate, or does it have to be distilled???

I'm one that says using RO water is fine for calibrating your refractometer, however I would like you to do a search for an excellent post written by our very own Broomer5 on the use of refractometers, you will find it very informative.
The thread I belive was called "using a refratometer" Not the one about using the Flintstone Live Rock Grabber

Thomas712, I found Broomer5's post within a post, thanks. Didn't mention the RO water, but had some good info. I loved the live rock grabber too LOL.
